Talk to an Engineer

Not a chatbot. Not a sales rep. When you reach out to 3D TACT, you're speaking with an engineer who understands your part and your process. We respond within 24 hours on business days, usually much sooner.

Common Questions

Before You Ask

Answers to the questions that come up most, so you don't have to wait for ours.

What file formats do you accept?

+

STL, STEP, OBJ, 3MF, and IGES. STEP is preferred for quoting because it preserves your original geometry and tolerances. If you only have a 2D drawing, PDF, or physical sample, get in touch anyway. We can usually work from it.

How fast can you deliver?

+

Standard orders ship in 3–5 business days from approval. Rush service is available from 24 hours. Mention it in your enquiry so we can confirm capacity. Lead time depends on technology, quantity, and post-processing requirements, so we'll confirm the exact date in your quote.

Is there a minimum order?

+

No. We print single parts regularly: concept models, replacement components, engineering samples. Every order goes through the same inspection process regardless of quantity.

Do you ship outside the UK?

+

Yes. We ship tracked and insured to Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific. International shipping costs and estimated delivery dates are included in your quote so there are no surprises at checkout.

How do I get a quote?

+

Use the form on this page or email info@3dtact.com. Attach your CAD file and tell us the material, quantity, and any finish or tolerance requirements. We'll send you a fixed-price quote within 24 hours, no obligation, no follow-up calls unless you want them.
